This is the 21st carrion, one of my mythical city beast sculptures.

The fertility idol, Venus of Willendorf that was found all around the world in ancient times was the inspiration of the piece.

I was creating a contemporary goddess that belongs to the urban.

 

I perceived the found copper pipe as its ridge, and the extruded cement represented its sexuality. Using construction materials to create a fictional goddess, delivering the urban myth of reborn and life.
